I am blessed to have the opportunity to play and work with some of the most talented musicians and vocalists. Though I appreciate an acoustic set and often play solo, I love the feel and vibration of a full back up band and harmony vocals.

Hans Berggren, Guitar and Vocals

Hans is a native of Sweden and has been playing electric lead guitar, acoustic guitar, singing, writing songs and recording music since he was a teenager. Hans moved to to the U.S.A.and settled down in North Carolina in 1994. He has played original music and covers in various groups and projects for many years. He took a break from music in the late 1990's, but started playing again in 2004 with new enthusiasm. A list of a few of the previous bands and projects; Sweden: Velvet (disco/rock), Blue Star Band (classic rock / blues, original and covers), Kyyria (heavy rock / metal, original music. This was the original line-up for Kyyria in Gothenburg. http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyyria), Göteborgs Operettsällskap (Operetto), Ezy Star Band (classic rock / blues, original and covers). North Carolina: Burgen and the Jets (dans/rock/soul), T-Hammer (classic rock / blues, original and covers). Virginia: Flipside (dans/rock/soul).

Zoo (Mike Zeoli), Drums

Mike Zeoli, aka Zoo, started playing piano at age 15 and immediately began writing songs. Within 2 years, he was accepted to the North Carolina School of the Arts where he earned a degree in classical piano performance. Upon leaving college, he turned again to songwriting. "It had always felt natural to compose and write songs, but while I was studying piano at college, there was so little time for anything else." Inspired by his father, Zoo has also studied guitar. “I have few memories of my father, but one of them was of him playing the guitar. Zoo is a multi-instrumentalist having played in many bands, notably as the piano player in Kind of Blue and the bassist in Suitcase. “I’m glad to get back to the drums with Aubrey.” Zoo’s band is Joe Next Door. Yes, that’s Mike of Joe who’s called Zoo. If you say it enough it begins to make sense.

Jason Faylen, Bass

Jason and music have been inseparable as long as music can remember! Jason started playing piano at age 6. In high school he also picked up tuba, based on the band director's advice that he was "naturally gifted, and full of hot air!" During his senior year, he started a rock band, in which he played keys and arranged. While he enjoys drumming as an exercise to stretch his bass skills, and dabbles with guitar, bass has been his primary focus for quite some time now. Jason plays with his hands on a bass he built with his hands. He also plays and co-writes with the band Joe Next Door. But his name is just Jason…of Joe who plays with Zoo…
